Blue Bug VW Beetle Mug | Joel Clark Signature — Volksworld Show

This illustration has a history. Joel Clark was commissioned by Volksworld Magazine to create the official artwork for the 2020 Volksworld Show poster — one of the UK’s most celebrated VW events. The brief centred on a show car built around that year’s So-Cal theme: sun-bleached California cool, custom culture, and the kind of Beetle that turns heads at every show it attends. As it turned out, the 2020 show never happened — lockdown saw to that — and the artwork eventually graced the poster for the 2021 event instead. Worth the wait.

Joel’s illustration focuses on the Beetle’s expressive front end — the iconic rounded wings, gleaming chrome bumper, and the cool blue tones that give this particular Bug its character. Each item is made to order and carefully hand-pressed in our Sussex studio.

Most orders are produced within 24–48 hours, depending on order volume.

Standard delivery: Orders are dispatched using a Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.

Express delivery: Where Express shipping is selected at checkout, orders are dispatched using a Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.

Delivery times refer to courier transit only and do not include production time.
