Is it a photo printed on a mug?
No — it’s a digitally rendered painterly portrait, a real piece of artwork rather than a photo or a filter. For pets (Pawtrait, Purrtrait, Ponytrait), the system self-audits every result before it’s shown to you. For Rolling Render car and bike portraits, we fully audit each one ourselves — often adjusting it by hand — before sending your proofs to approve.
What photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo with your subject filling most of the frame — front-on for pets, a three-quarter view for cars and bikes. Avoid heavy filters. If yours isn’t quite right, we’ll tell you before we start.
Do I get to choose before it’s printed?
Yes — in two ways. Pet portraits (Pawtrait, Purrtrait, Ponytrait) give you three versions to choose from instantly, with no approval step and no waiting. Rolling Render car and bike portraits are a bigger commission: you choose the scene, angle, driver and details, we render and perfect it our side, then email you proofs to approve — with a full money-back guarantee if you’re not happy.
